As every year, FIS-ASP Application Service Providing und IT-Outsourcing GmbH
sticks to the philosophy “donation instead of presents” and supports the regional “We can’t do without our wheel loader” project of THW Schweinfurt.
The THW-Helfervereinigung Schweinfurt e. V. (Helpers’ Association) is a non-profit, purely voluntary association and supports the work of the Schweinfurt THW section as well as disaster control.
THW Schweinfurt is mainly involved in regional operations. However, the helpers are also deployed supra-regionally for special operations, such as the major flood disaster in the Ahr valley or the snow chaos in Southern Bavaria. All materials purchased by the helpers’ association with donations and grants are made available by the association to the Schweinfurt THW section under the title of local hazard control (LHC). In the event of an operation, the equipment procured therefore benefits everyone concerned.
Since THW’s wheel loader, which was procured some years ago, has already become obsolete during all the operations, FIS-ASP GmbH donates 8,000 euros and consequently supports the task forces of THW Schweinfurt with the procurement of a replacement vehicle. The donation handover took place on December 14, 2022, at the premises of FIS-ASP. Jürgen Gratz, 1st managing director, Ute Junghans, keeper of the minutes, and Robert Schuhmann, managing director of FIS-ASP, were present. “We are happy to support the THW helpers’ association because nothing replaces people who are engaged in difficult situations in an uncomplicated and helpful manner,” says Robert Schuhmann. Mr. Gratz expressed his gratitude for the generous support, which will help to purchase the new wheel loader.
